Just 4.4m long, 1.86m tall and 1.69m tall, and with a tight turning circle and agile driving dynamics, the NV200 is designed for use in congested cities. Yet it boasts a cargo load bay more than 2m long. That’s enough to take two standard Euro pallets at the same time. Swivel the optional load bay partition out of the way and fold the front passenger seat flat to allow even longer loads of up to 2.8m.
At only 524mm above ground level, the NV200 has the lowest loading height in its class. This enables an amazing cargo volume of 4.2m3 – that’s about 25% more capacity than rival vehicles – so your customers can get much more in. Maximum payload is a mighty 783kg.
Thanks to Nissan’s extensive research and development, the NV200 delivers a commanding driving position with good visibility. Twin sliding doors with adjustable windows to the side, and side-hinged ‘French’ doors to the rear, ensure every load is easy to accommodate.
Steering the NV200 into a class of its own are unique features. Like a rear-view parking camera for manoeuvring easily into tight bays. Ample and versatile storage space and additional features, such as Nissan Intelligent Key and Trip Computer, come as standard.
Economically powering the NV200 is your customer’s choice of engine – a 1.6-litre petrol unit with 81 kW/153Nm, or a 1.5-litre diesel developing 63 kW/200 Nm. Also available soon is option three – a higher output diesel engine. Driving fuel economy harder still is the van’s aerodynamically efficient profile, light-weight construction and low, rolling-resistance tyres. Running the NV200 is easy not just on your customers’ pockets, but on the environment, too.
Uncluttered design is another NV200 trademark. Simple, elegant lines spell out the van’s robust attributes, providing ample space for branding to be added to the side panels. Framing the door glass to create a dramatic sense of movement, the upswept swage line is a unique flourish. Flush door handles enhance the streamlined effect; deep side windows provide enhanced visibility.
Nissan understands your different customers will put their NV200s to different uses, so has developed a dedicated array of optional parts and accessories. Interior and exterior protectors, security enhancements and passenger-car style comforts and conveniences are just some of these – ensuring every NV200 you sell is as unique as its user.
It’s a level of innovation that’s already seen the NV200 earn the Institute of Transport Management’s coveted Van of the Year Award for 2010. Watch this space for more industry accolades…
